This will take some getting in the conditions but MOTOWN LAKE looked a stayer to follow at Uttoxeter on just his second start over fences and though he'll be carrying 10lb extra will take some beating. Sigurd is the only course and distance winner having won this a year ago from a 3lb lower mark while The Very Thing created a 66/1 shock at Catterick when losing his maiden tag at the 23rd attempt. Aughnacurra King last ran in November 2020 when an easy winner at Plumpton for which he's only been raised 2lb while Eveque was narrowly beaten here on Boxing Day before a poor run at Kelso.
