Verdict

Macavity was fancied for a similar contest here two weeks ago but weakened quickly on the final circuit. PRESENT FAIR won a couple of times between the flags earlier in the year and he is sure to have had plenty of schooling over hurdles since switching to the McCain yard. This looks a good starting point for his career under Rules. Jockey bookings would suggest Hitching Jacking, placed in a point and a bumper, is the pick of the two Skelton runners and Imperial B G, progressive in bumpers, is another with decent claims. Revasser has ability but is having a first run since Boxing Day last year.
