Verdict

A competitive handicap for the time of year but this trip looks on the sharp side for Racing Europe. Last month's Southwell third Rumble Of Thunder has won off a higher mark so could go well but Dr Irv continues to disappoint over timber. Worcester winner Crazy Jack, Walk On Al and Lackamon will probably be back over fences after this while Rival D'Estruval needs the mud but Bowie has each-way claims again, though has his stamina to prove. L'AIGLE ROYAL had probably had enough for the season when pulled up at Sandown in April but has finished a good fourth at that track in a Grade 3 earlier. Still a four-year-old, he should have more to offer this season and can make his presence felt here. Lord Wishes is hard to catch right but has ability and could surprise a few if in the mood.
