Verdict

JERRYSBACK followed an easy victory between the flags with a comfortable debut success over hurdles at Plumpton where he defied a few novicey errors. He may just about have the edge over Eaton Hill, who looked destined for a place on his hurdling debut here last month before staying on strongly to catch Mount Mews on the line. Plus One has a nice pedigree and went for £90,000 at the sales after landing a point at Kirkistown in November. The remainder have little to recommend then though Tommy O'dwyer won three times between the flags.
