      Verdict

HIGH RON had looked a Southwell specialist until scoring at Uttoxeter just over a week ago. He arrives here in better form than most of his rivals and, on an upward curve, can defy a penalty in this higher grade. Scotswell was just touched off by a well-handicapped rival at Carlisle last time but is 3lb higher. Fentara may also be in the handicapper's grip while Lost Glory and Ballybough Gorta have a bit to prove at present. Hayjack was entered to run at Worcester last night but Tullyraine and The Panama Kid aren't without a chance and You Know Yerself is starting to look well treated.
