Verdict

All five runners have chances and MISS PROSS is narrowly preferred to Kirby's Vic and Lease Lend. Tim Walford's charge faces a baptism of fire on seasonal reappearance but she handles soft ground and if fit enough, this mark of 114 does not look to be a prohibitive one. Kirby's Vic seems sure to front run. Nigel Twiston-Davies' string are in good form but he was rather left with the race at his mercy last time out after the likely winner capsized. Lease Lend is a real looker of a horse. He looks better over further though the ground will make this a decent test. William Bonney won well at Ludlow in April though has struggled to recapture that level of form. Kilkenny All Star is yet to get his head infront but it is folly to discount anything that Sue Smith sends to her local track. Miss Pross is not without fitness concerns but she could be well treated off this mark.
