    Verdict

Executive's Hall showed some ability in point-to-points in Ireland but has shown little sign of translating that ability to regulation fences and this really looks to be little more than a match between PICAROON and Nothingbutthetruth, with preference for the former. The selection was useful over hurdles but has shown improved form since being put over fences this term with wins at Leicester and Chepstow and losing no caste in defeat when chasing home Storymaker at Bangor last time, a reproduction of which should see him go one better today. James Moffatt's Browneyes Blue has shown little worthwhile form in recent starts coming back after an absence, while Tim Pitt's King's Majesty needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Stable companion Nothingbutthetruth has shown improved form over fences of late and has solid claims but Picaroon has the better form and he looks the one to beat.
