          Verdict

          A very tricky opener to the Wetherby card where a handful of contenders come here with solid claims at this level. However, Just Beth has been running well in similar contests and edges a narrow vote over Bobanvi, General Gossip and Case Of Poteen - although Huka Lodge was going like the winner when he fell at the last here on his latest start and will be a big danger to them all if that experience has not dented his confidence. But Just Beth has experience on her side and has been found a good opportunity to finally add to her tally today. The seven-year-old mare is adaptable regarding her best trip and has no doubts about staying the distance on ground that should suit - comments that cannot confidently be announced about the majority of her rivals. So, in a very difficult race to evaluate, Just Beth looks the safest option for punters to kick-start the meeting with a winner.
