In depth

Verdict

Narcissist has been steadily getting his act together over timber and should be hitting the net sooner rather than later after his recent runner-up effort behind Mr Shantu at Market Rasen. This does look a tougher assignation though with BARTON STACEY heading the weights for David Pipe but nevertheless performing off an 8lb lower mark now returned to hurdles after a convincing Stratford chase success. Catching On was beaten at odds-on last time at Ffos Las but previously looked on the upgrade and it would be folly to exclude him from calculations. He remains lightly-raced too. Vuvuzela definitely has ability at this level but has raced far too keenly the last twice. He'll be dangerous if Tony Kelly can make the Menzies charge more amenable to restraint.
