In depth

Verdict

WHATAREYOUDOINGTOME (NAP) had only shown moderate form before stepping up to around this trip at Gowran and gaining an emphatic victory with today's rival Wood Pigeon a long way behind. Nor surprisingly he's gone up 9lb but is only a six-year-old so should have more to offer. The veteran Blazing Beacon has had very little racing over the past few years but may not be finished winning yet as he loves this track and ran a cracker from out of the handicap here on St Patrick's Day. Tooreen has yet to win in 11 starts over fences and is probably still a few pounds high while Itsonthelist has been in very poor form.
