Authorized Art had been running in better company before heading to Downpatrick for a similar race to this but failed to justify support. January Jets finished in front of him on his return from chasing and should do so again while bumper winner Ambitious Fellow gained a shock victory in a lucrative auction race at Punchestown though that was over 2m4f. BUDDY RICH has been running over fences and reverts to hurdles on a 7lb lower mark. He won twice over the smaller obstacles last summer and looks well enough treated though he's very closely matched with Gladiatorial on their 1-2 at Downpatrick last summer. Imperial Ruler has won a bumper and a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle in just three starts and battled on gamely last time.
