Verdict

Canaly won this last year when a mere sibling of 11 and is back on exactly the same mark despite having won at Punchestown in January. But THE CRAFTY BUTCHER (NAP) benefited from a spell between the flags last year and moved to Willie Mullins. His close second in the lucrative Paddy Power at Leopardstown is easily the best recent form on view and his later fall was over hurdles. He should gain his first success for the yard, though Katnap should make a bold bid to defy a 6lb rise for his Leopardstown victory. He had earlier finished behind Courtncatcher on the same track but was returning from a break and can reverse positions. Realt Mor, a Grade 1 winner in his younger days, won over hurdles in January and is still capable of a big run at this sort of level.
