In depth

Verdict

The assessor has taken few chances with Ross Na Righ, a faller on his chasing debut before winning easily at Clonmel. A very good second there later suggests he's a progressive chaser and he must be on the short-list despite a big weight. Ransom has won two of his four runs over fences and pulled up in the other two. He ploughed through the mud to score at Cork in April and might find these faster conditions against him. Jewel In The Sun had his path cleared when a close rival fell at the last at Ballinrobe but he would probably have won anyway. The assessor has reacted with a massive 14lb rise and that may prove too much of a burden so it's the consistent CLARAGH NATIVE, who is 1lb lower than when runner-up to Supreme Doc at Killarney last month, who gets the vote.
