In depth

Verdict

Several of these have been racing on the Flat including Easy Pass, who is still a maiden after 17 starts though ran quite well at Dundalk last month. Coherent, a winner on the all-weather, has only been placed once in 13 starts over timber but ran his best race for a while on this track earlier this month and will enjoy the conditions more than most. The four-year-old Buffalo Blues, a winner on the Flat, is another who has been finding heavy ground against him and should do better but the vote goes to another from the younger brigade, INGLEBY MACKENZIE. Eoin Doyle's charge was making his handicap debut over timber when a close fourth at Down Royal and runner-up I've Got Rhythm can give the form a boost in the previous race.
