In depth

Verdict

Dick Dundee scored over these fences earlier in the year and won at Listowel last time. But he only just got the better of the re-opposing Beneficial Spirit and is 7lb higher today. Osana has been well beaten in handicaps either side of winning at Ballinrobe while Toostrong has failed to improve on his second at Listowel last month, albeit in better company than this. Mister First can be given a chance off his current mark but a speculative vote goes to Michael Hourigan's A FINE YOUNG MAN as he's gone well fresh before and won at Cork back in March.
