Venezia was expected to make his second start over hurdles a winning one at Punchestown but looked as though a stiffer test of stamina was required. Billy De Kid started out over 2m4f and performed well but he's another who hasn't been suited by the minimum trip in recent starts. Dual point-to-point winner SLEMISH returned from a break to run Abbey Magic close at Tramore and with more to offer Jim Dreaper's charge looks the one to be on. Llancillo Lord is better over further but still looks best of the remainder.
