Verdict

Suerte Al Salto makes his racecourse debut and Paul Nicholls' recent winners of this event have all been well supported. Any moves for him could prove significant, but the vote goes to SLEEPING CITY. He was sent off favourite for his debut at Hereford in April and showed plenty of promise in finishing fifth despite being hampered. He can make amends here with that experience under his belt. Basil Fawlty was fourth on the Polytrack at Kempton last December on his first start and makes more appeal than Ivor's King, who didn't show much improvement on his recent reappearance at Chepstow, while winning point-to-pointer Baldadash is another to note.
