Verdict

Take Your Time landed a Lingfield novices' event in style but disappointed when beaten almost 10 lengths on heavy ground at Chepstow. Winning bumper Sizable Sam made most and defied a couple of mistakes when scoring over 2m4f here though the concession of 7lb to KEEP ROLLING (NAP) may prove beyond him. Philip Hobbs' charge has had little racing for his age but reappeared after a year off with a spectacular victory at Hereford and still looks on a fair mark. Just So Cool was having his first start for Tom Symonds when landing a Market Rasen handicap and is only 3lb higher while Doncaster runner-up Santon can make his presence felt from the bottom of the weights.
