Verdict

PRESENT MAN (NAP) goes for the hat-trick in this Listed handicap so this is clearly his track and time of year. He is only 4lb higher than 12 months ago and can again show he goes best fresh. His stable also run Give Me A Copper but he didn’t fire last season. The Young Master came right back to form last term and ended his campaign with a second in the Grade 3 bet365 Gold Cup. After a pipe-opener on the all-weather, the 10-year-old rates a danger. His stablemate Soupy Soups has been in decent form and Just A Sting was going well at this time last year. Beau Du Brizais is race-fit and finished ahead of Sumkindofking here last month, though White Moon was challenging when falling in that race and should come out best of that trio today with a clear round. Walk In The Mill was fourth in the Grand National in April but that race will be his target again this season.
