In depth

Verdict

Ragdale Hall made a satisfactory debut over hurdles here in March and has a favourites chance of landing his first win under National Hunt rules if he can build on that effort. Richard Johnson will again be doing the persuading and the partnership look to be the ones they will all have to beat. Night Diamond has to be feared on account of his connections, but Fosse Hill also has the scope to go well.
