Verdict

Page Fuller gave Shanann Star a brilliant ride to land this 12 months ago but he’s still 4lb higher and was well beaten by GENERAL GIRLING over the course and distance later. He’s also twice had a rear view of veteran Goring One lately. Ron Hodges’ stayer is not easy to catch right but was on his best behaviour on similar going at Lingfield last month and may be capable of following up. Gamain is on a fair mark but recent placed efforts have come over hurdles and he’s not the best of jumpers. Gardiners Hill and Hansupfordetroit looks worth opposing again and this may be too far for Dance Floor King.
