Verdict

Twenty Eight Guns has already won at Ffos Las and Bangor this season and is well suited by soft ground. She should make a bold bid, despite conceding weight all round. Kentford Myth won a four-runner race here on Boxing Day but the two at the head of the market both fell and Seamus Mullins’ mare was 30 lengths adrift of the leader when left clear three out. Buttercup would have a chance with a clear round but Black Narcissus has shown little over fences this season. UNIFY had no chance in a Listed race last time at Doncaster but had won under today’s amateur at Leicester before that. She does best in small fields and has every chance of adding to her tally here.
