In depth

Formwatch

Course Doctor (IRE) Not the best of jumpers but not a bad handicap hurdler; that said, that's a long way removed from this level of race.

Double Thriller Formerly useful, he now seems to have lost his way.

General Wolfe Ran very well after a long absence to finish second in the Agfa Diamond Handicap Chase at Sandown on Feb 3; entitled to improve on that but place money looks his best bet.

Marlborough (IRE) Progressive three-mile chaser who has Gold Cup aspirations; looks to have found an easy opportunity ahead of the big day.

The Toiseach (IRE) Useful chaser two years ago but then sustained an injury; it would be quite a performance to take this after such an absence.
