Verdict

CLASH OF D TITANS has shown enough in a couple of starts over timber to suggest he can win at the level now handicapping for the first time. He was second to a winner rated 127 at Lingfield last time. Volpone Jelois won an all-weather bumper last month and has placed off higher marks over hurdles in the past while Mortens Leam can race off a lower mark back over the smaller obstacles today and is partnered by last year’s winning jockey. Canoodle wasn’t beaten far at Doncaster when last over hurdles and Lex Talionis has a shout on an earlier second at Sandown.
