SWINCOMBE FLAME is held in high regard and had no trouble justifying short odds at Exeter last time following a pipe-opener at the same track when finishing well ahead of subsequent Towcester scorer Queen's Bay. Nick Williams' mare was conceding 8lb when beating Tante Sissi in a Listed bumper at Sandown in the spring, though the latter will be all the better for her hurdling debut at Sandown earlier this month. Miss Tenacious won twice at Newton Abbot in the summer but was pulled up in a handicap at Hereford after a break and looks to be facing a stiff task here with her double penalty.
