Cordite was third in a lesser contest here last month but it’s more than three years since his one and only victory. Cape Banjo is sure to be popular faster his short-head second at Kempton but he’s not won on Turf so far and his stable has been very quiet lately. Solo Hunter usually finds a way of getting beat and so does Archimento but Biotic could be interesting on a decent mark if he’s ready. GETBACK IN PARIS has run well in both starts for Richard Hughes, keeping on when fifth last time in the Rosebery at Kempton despite racing freely. If more amenable to restraint today, he could outclass these.
