Insolence showed enough promise on her debut at Salisbury to be of interest here however APPLAUSE may have achieved just that bit more in two starts and is preferred accordingly. Jeremy Noseda's daughter of Danehill Dancer was only narrowly touched off at Lingfield last time out. She was then given the winter off and if she is fit enough after 269 days off then she should take all the beating. Insolence looks the main danger judging by her three-length fifth to Mrs Beeton at Salisbury. She holds Highland Lassie on that run and with improvement to come from this daughter of Mr Greeley she is fancied to run well. Salamon needs to improve on her first run behind Charlotte Point at Great Leighs but the form is working out well. Clive Cox has his string in fine form so his pair of Seeking Faith and newcomer Dayanara need respect, as does Through The Forest who makes her debut today. Kimberley Rocks is another to consider however she broke a blood vessel on her first run and cannot be put forward with any confidence. This can go the way of Applause.
