      Verdict

      PORTO FERRO has landed only one of 21 starts but has performed solidly since joining the Bridger team earlier this year and will go close if repeating the level of her latest run when just touched off over course and distance last month for which she's been hoisted a couple of pounds. She should be well suited to conditions and gets the nod over recent winner Baltic Prince and Desert Fox, who has obliged twice over this trip during the winter campaign. Champagne Bob would also enter consideration at his best but the concern is that he is having his first run since mid-November.
