Golden Penny failed to justify strong market support last time at Lingfield and is taken to recoup the losses incurred on that occasion and land it for the Hughie Morrison yard. Golden Penny found Tina's Penny too strong last time at Lingfield but expect Travis Block to make much more use of the selection today, given that he appeared short of pace when it was injected in that Lingfield event. Penchesco tackles the mile for the first time and has dropped down a couple of pounds from his last outing. The additional furlong will suit and Pat Eddery's charge appears the main danger to Golden Penny. Rondeau was far from disgraced on his turf debut last time and is another that should be suited by the extra furlong. Coole Dodger will be suited by his high draw given his running style. Golden Penny is given the vote.
