    Verdict

Gladiatrix was second at Ascot around this time last year off today's mark and she normally competes at a higher level. Pandar hinted at a revival at Chester last time but Powerful Wind and Hannahs Turn have more to do than when successful at Brighton and Haydock respectively. Taurus Twins rattled up a hat-trick in May but is probably in the handicapper's grip now. The booking of Ryan Moore for the lightly-raced Autumns Blush catches the eye but PORT ALFRED may be worth another chance having failed to get the run of the race when favourite at Newmarket in May.
