Verdict

RHOMBUS looks a very progressive sort and appeared to relish the step back up in trip at Thirsk when easily beating a good yardstick. He is fancied to defy an 8lb weight rise ahead of Leicester scorer Hassle and the lightly-raced filly Alegra, who tries 1m4f for the first time. Bantam won't go down without a fight, however, as she's already won over course and distance and at Salisbury this year while She's Late wasn't beaten far when joint favourite at Newbury last month having won over the trip at Newmarket in August.
