Verdict

STANDOUT has been unlucky to come up against a couple of progressive performers on his last two starts - both times touched off in the shadow of the post. He comes up against some unexposed types again here but must be given another chance. Run On Ruby ended her first campaign with a victory over 7f at Kempton and reappeared there to run well at around this trip. She must be a threat along with Romeo Montague, who is just 4lb higher than winning a Wolverhampton handicap last month. Dubai Glory finally came good over tonight's C&D three weeks ago and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort while Kieren Fallon's booking for Cunning Act catches the eye as his mount was going on strongly over 1m1f at Wolverhampton on his reappearance and makes his handicap debut here.
