Verdict

ART JEWEL is taken to land the opener at the expense of Red Avalanche and Lucky Mellor. The selection was impressive enough on his debut at Lingfield when sent of favourite. He is entitled to improve for the experience and looks more than capable of following up on his second outing. Red Avalanche has continued to improve with experience. He finished nearer last than first on his debut but ran an eye catching second on his penultimate start before breaking his maiden tag at Nottingham last time out. He possesses plenty of speed and can once again be in the shake come the business end of the race. Lucky Mellor improved form his debut outing to score at Southwell on his second start, while Crown won nicely at Windsor when breaking his maiden tag last time out and should be noted for any support in the market. However for the winner we return to Art Jewel.
