Tony Carroll fires two darts at the target with BLISTERING DANCER, a confirmed prominent racer, preferred of the pair and he could well take home the prize under Megan Nicholls. The 6-y-o is enjoying a best season for some time with a series of decent efforts on a variety of surfaces in sprint handicaps and his last two efforts represent some of the best form on show. Stable companion Essaka, also in good nick, is a hold-up merchant and Georgia Cox will need to coax him along in the hope the right gaps appear at the right time. He''ll go close if they do. Hardy Black, an all-weather winner latest, has plenty on carrying top weight and Wahaab is also on a high mark but his best would see him involved and he's shortlisted. The lightly-raced pair of Helfire and Showdaisy represent quality yards and may improve for the move into handicaps.
