Verdict

GRANDFATHER TOM is still improving judged on the ease of last month’s win at Nottingham and Bob Cowell’s sprinter is taken to defy a 6lb rise in the weights. King Robert faced a tough task at Goodwood last time and can finish closer back over the minimum trip today while Glamorous Rocket slips further down the weights and is preferred to Restless Rose, whose previous wins came over 6f. The veteran Pettochside is on the downgrade but has tumbled down the weights as a consequence and Solar Park has switched yards for only his second outing on Turf.
