Vimy Ridge is a pound lower than when winning this last year and won off an even higher mark over track and trip later. However, he was last here in May and only beaten one home at Lingfield last month. MADAME BOUNTY has been somewhere near her best the last twice and would only need a little further improvement to land this. Silverrica may prove best of Malcolm Saunders’ two runners while Ladweb will be all the better for his third at Nottingham. Edged Out is rarely far away but an infrequent winner and Tylery Wonder seems best at York.
