Verdict

Beau Select makes a quick reappearance after a close third at Nottingham on Saturday but he may struggle to overturn previous form with Sam Spade, for whom Willie Twiston-Davies has been booked with his 5lb claim. The latter's trainer also runs Emulating, who looked a bit one-paced on his reappearance over 1m2f at Lingfield. POOR DUKE doesn't look particularly well handicapped but posted a really promising effort on his reappearance at Bath when caught in the dying strides by Echo Brava. He can go one better though Plenum looks the type to do better in his second season and makes his handicap debut.
