Verdict

This race may be restricted to apprentices but a few of the runners arrive in excellent form. Thecornishcowboy has already won on soft ground at Nottingham and Ayr this month and has every chance of completing his hat-trick, despite a penalty. Geeaitch was well beaten back on Turf at Chepstow, however, while Highlife Dancer may be back in the handicapper's grip. Shahrazad's win came on the Polytrack but she was placed here last August. ETON RAMBLER needed the run when behind Geeaitch at Chepstow last month and is now only a pound higher than for his last win. He can take this under the promising Cam Hardie.
