        Verdict

After a reasonable debut at Newbury, NABUCCO was made favourite for a similar race at Sandown but found Signed Up just too strong. That looked a fair race and he can go one better though Cactus Valley, who wasn't far behind after being out with the washing, can get closer and rates a threat. Sash Of Honour made an impressive debut at Newmarket in April but ran poorly when strongly fancied on softer ground at Newbury. Kunegunda was going on strongly over this trip at Ripon and a fast gallop here should play to her strengths so she's one to keep an eye on as is the William Haggas newcomer Guarantee, a son of Authorized. Useful hurdler Dee Ee Williams is an interesting entry but unlikely to have the pace for this.
