Shifting Star goes well around here but keeps going up in the weights without winning. Snappy Guest has had a nice break since winning here in July and is just 2lb higher but Bakht A Rawan has been beaten twice off this mark recently. Baltic Prince has an excellent strike-rate of 10-61 though has never scored over a trip this far but Filosofo scored at Salisbury in August but couldn't handle soft ground on a return visit. MONSIEUR VALENTINE was having only his sixth start when scoring over 7f on soft ground at Chepstow and, with further progress likely, he looks the one to beat from his lowly mark.
