Verdict

PLANTEUR hasn't raced since finishing runner-up in the Group 1 Prix D'Ispahan at Longchamp in May. But he goes well fresh and will be a short-price to land this as a prep for upcoming engagements in the respective Champion Stakes at Leopardstown and Ascot. The battle for second should prove more competitive and Chil The Kite is just preferred to Al Waab as the former has been competing in Group 1 company of late while Quick Wit could also get involved in a scramble for the places. The remainder are useful handicappers but will do well to figure in this.
