Verdict

John Gosden and William Buick had a memorable five days at Royal Ascot and have a decent chance of rounding off the evening with another winner if Falkland puts his best foot forward. There is a doubt about that however for, after travelling strongly, he downed tools quickly at Doncaster last time. Burnham carries a penalty for last week's win here over a shorter trip but there are possibilities about Mizbah, if he can recapture his two-year-old form, and Godolphin are also fielding the lightly-raced Mr Churchill. ALVITUDE stepped up on previous efforts when third to Initiator over 1m2f here four weeks ago. He'll have no problem with the extra distance today and can open his account off what looks a fair mark.
