A few of these have proved disappointing this year. They include Roayh, Moon Pearl, Usain Colt and Attenborough but FIRE SHIP hasn't done a great deal wrong and can boast a win and a short-head second in two previous runs over this C&D. Not beaten far in a two runs in better company at Newmarket and Ascot last month, William Knight's gelding looks the one to beat this evening. Rocky Reef has been in decent form over 7f recently but this trip seems to stretch his stamina so Franco Is My Name may be the pick of the remainder.
