Falcon Rock deserves to get his head in front having been placed in each of his last four starts but Simon Callaghan's gelding looks booked for a place again having been raised another 2lbs since his most recent start at Kempton and preference is for WING PLAY, who gets the verdict ahead of Fire King. Jonathan Geake's gelding was good value for his win on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time and he has to be respected off an 8lb higher mark back on turf but it may be that the son of Falbrav is going to be better on the artificial surfaces and he may be best watched. Mary Hambro's Rose Row has been running consistently well of late but she may be a shade high in the weights judged by recent outings, while it is to be hoped that Walter Swinburn's Apotheosis goes better now back on turf having disappointed on Lingfield's Polytrack last time. Jim Boyle's Awatuki has not been seen since November but would be of interest if fully wound up for his reappearance, however, more solid claims are held by Wing Play. Hugh Morrison's gelding has done little wrong of late having followed his decent success at Lingfield with a good return to turf when chasing home Mick's Dancer at Chester and a similar performance today may well suffice.
