Verdict

GROUNDWORKER found one too good at Newmarket last week but had beaten the re-opposing Gulland Rock at Goodwood before that. Sylvester Kirk's colt gets the nod with winning partner Ryan Moore back in the saddle. Innocently posted his best effort since scoring at York last year when fourth at Ripon while the headstrong Al Senad drops down to 5f for the first time for his handicap debut. Va Benny looks up against it on his modest form to date.
