      Verdict

STANLEY RIGBY came close to landing a gamble on his handicap bow for Chris Wall back in January and ran the odd decent race thereafter without winning. He's certainly no superstar but his previous trainer clearly felt that he had the ability to win from his current perch and it would be no surprise to see him make a winning start to his career with Richard Fahey. There are plenty of alternatives if he fluffs his lines again with Locum high on the list under Richard Hughes whilst Leyte Gulf should also give another good account of himself. Tower has claims following his win at Kempton with Inside Knowledge no forlorn hope if he takes to this track whilst Whitley Bay wasn't beaten too far behind Leyte Gulf three starts ago and could go well at a price.
