Verdict

Ever Cheerful, Turf Princess and Savernake Brave look the principals in this poor claimer and the confident vote goes to Ever Cheerful. The gelding from the Bill Turner yard is well clear on official ratings and was a fair sixth behind Caladonian in a much better race last time a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Turf Princess rates the main danger on her best form, but she was very disappointing at Southwell last time and is opposed for that reason. Savernake Brave could also go well, but he will need to improve on his latest 10th behind Blue Empire to score. The remainder look very moderate and are readily opposed so the confident vote goes to Ever Cheerful.
