    Verdict

Come What July and Tedstale stand out on ratings here, with Tedstale selected. Tranquilizer could prove best of the rest. Tedstale bounced back to winning form in a similar event here last time and, given that his summer Turf form showed him to have retained ability before that, he looks to be a leading player today. Come What July holds very good claims on his July form, and let's hope that being brought down here last time has left no mental of physical scars. Course winner Tranquilizer has improved of late and, even though he is unproven at today's trip, can't be ruled out of a good run. Weet A Head holds a chance on his October win at Haydock, while Yawmi has dropped to a fair mark based on his best Turf and Lingfield all-weather efforts. The others need to find improvement, particularly if ratings can be believed which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Tedstale.
