Verdict

Master Of Song improved for the longer trip and finally got off the mark at Southwell in October. He still seems best on the Fibresand, however, and an 11lb rise looks a bit harsh despite his easy win. Irish raider The Fox Tully arrives on the back of a better effort at Dundalk and could figure, but a chance is taken on ARTISAN. He made a recent debut over hurdles, but is earlier second over today's trip at Pontefract earns him the vote back on the level. Archie Rice is back on a winning mark and is another to consider along with C&D winner Knowe Head.
