A chance is taken with Zoom Zoom, who has form that ties in with runners in division one of this contest and the five-year-old entire is preferred over Les Arc and Kingsmaite today. The last mentioned won over seven furlongs here last November but failed to sparkle when he tried to follow up the following month. There has to be the suspicion that he will need this after 80-days away from the action and he may just be a little short of the mark over a trip just short of his best today. Les Arc hails from a yard that have already enjoyed numerous days out with him. However, he too may find this a little on the sharp side and, as his recent form figures would suggest, his connections appear to be struggling as they try to fathom out his optimum trip. Therefore, we give another chance to Zoom Zoom, who already holds a fifty percent strike-rate from his visits to this track. There are several winners in pedigree and, as an unexposed five-year-old, he does not have much to find to hold this lot at bay in the easier of the two divisions of the sprint.
